1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website at www.deobandacademy.com, filling out the admission form, attending a trial class, or enrolling in any course offered by Deoband Islamic Academy (“Academy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you (“Student”, “Parent”, or “Guardian”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or submit any enrollment form.

2. Our Services

Deoband Islamic Academy provides online Islamic education services, including but not limited to:

• Live one-on-one online classes via video conferencing platforms
• Courses in Quran Tajweed, Nazra, Islamic Studies, Hadith, Arabic, Tafseer, Aalima Program, and Takmeel-e-Ifta
• Monthly progress reports and parent communication via WhatsApp
• Free trial classes for new students

All classes are conducted 100% online. The Academy reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any course or service at any time with prior notice.

3. Enrollment & Admission

Enrollment at Deoband Islamic Academy is subject to the following conditions:

• Completion and submission of the official Admission Form on our website
• Payment of the applicable one-time admission fee
• Availability of a suitable teacher and time slot
• For the Takmeel-e-Ifta course: successful completion of an entrance assessment

A free trial class is offered to all new students. The trial class is non-binding and does not guarantee enrollment. Admission is at the sole discretion of the Academy.

Parents or guardians must provide accurate information during enrollment. Any false information may result in immediate cancellation of enrollment without refund.

4. Fees & Payment Policy

All fees are charged on a monthly basis unless otherwise specified. Fees are payable in advance at the beginning of each month.

• Admission Fee: A one-time non-refundable admission fee is charged upon enrollment. This fee varies by course.
• Monthly Fee: Monthly tuition fees vary by course. Please refer to our Pricing Page for current rates.
• One-on-One Fee: Premium one-on-one sessions are available at separately published rates.
• International Students: Fees for international students are published in USD and are payable as agreed at the time of enrollment.

Non-payment of fees may result in suspension of classes without further notice.

5. Class Policy & Conduct

Attendance: Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes. Regular attendance is essential for progress.

• If a student is unable to attend a class, the parent/guardian must inform the teacher or Academy at least 2 hours before the scheduled class time via WhatsApp.
• Classes missed without prior notice will be counted as absent and will not be rescheduled.
• Classes missed due to teacher unavailability will be rescheduled or compensated.

Technical Requirements: Students are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection, a working device with camera and microphone, and a quiet environment for classes.

Recording: Recording of classes by either party without prior written consent from the Academy is strictly prohibited.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation by Student/Parent:

• You may cancel enrollment at any time by notifying us via WhatsApp or email with at least 7 days’ notice before the next billing cycle.
• The one-time admission fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
• Monthly fees already paid are non-refundable once the billing cycle has commenced.
• If cancellation is requested before the start of a new billing month, no further charges will be applied.

Cancellation by Academy:

• The Academy reserves the right to cancel enrollment for violation of our Code of Conduct, non-payment of fees, or any other valid reason.
• In such cases, a pro-rated refund of unused monthly fees may be issued at the Academy’s discretion.

7. Student & Parent Code of Conduct

Deoband Islamic Academy is an institution guided by Islamic values. All students, parents, and guardians are expected to:

• Treat teachers and Academy staff with full respect and Islamic courtesy (Adab)
• Dress modestly during all online classes, in accordance with Islamic guidelines
• Not use abusive, disrespectful, or inappropriate language in any communication
• Not share course materials, recordings, or content with third parties without permission
• Ensure the student’s learning environment is free from distractions during class time
• Not engage in any behavior that disrupts the learning process

Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in a warning, suspension, or permanent cancellation of enrollment at the Academy’s discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Deoband Islamic Academy website and in our courses — including but not limited to course materials, syllabus documents, lesson plans, study guides, logos, and website design — is the intellectual property of Deoband Islamic Academy.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or share any of our course content without express written permission.
• Personal use of course materials for the enrolled student’s learning is permitted.
• Quran and Hadith texts are the words of Allah and the Prophet ﷺ and are not claimed as our property.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Deoband Islamic Academy provides its services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive to deliver the highest quality Islamic education, we make no warranties or representations regarding:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service at all times
• Specific academic outcomes or results for any student
• The continuous availability of any specific teacher

Internet connectivity, device performance, and other technical factors are outside our control and are the responsibility of the student/parent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Deoband Islamic Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use our services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you in the month in which the claim arose.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.

We encourage amicable resolution of all disputes in the spirit of Islamic brotherhood and mutual respect before any legal recourse.
